Honoring Champions of India’s MSME Ecosystem

National MSME Impact Awards 2025- Honoring Champions of India’s MSME Ecosystem

Delhi, June 27, 2025 – The National MSME Impact Awards 2025, hosted by the India SME Forum (ISF) on June 27, 2025, during the International MSME Day Conclave in New Delhi, celebrated exemplary contributions to India’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These awards recognize state governments, financial institutions, and service providers for their innovative efforts in fostering a dynamic MSME ecosystem, driving export growth, and promoting socio-economic development through inclusive support frameworks.

The awards followed a meticulous selection process, beginning with feedback from over 1 lakh MSMEs, capturing their experiences with ecosystem enablers. This was complemented by more than 72,000 public votes, ensuring a democratic and transparent evaluation. An eminent jury, chaired by Mr. Prabhat Kumar, Former Cabinet Secretary and first Governor of Jharkhand, and including distinguished figures like Mr Amitabh Kant, Mr Dhanendra Kumar, Dr. Aruna Sharma, Mr Prahlad Kakkar, Dr. J. S. Juneja, Mr T. R. Bajalia and Mr Vinod Kumar, President of ISF, finalized the winners. The awards were presented by Shri Kalraj Mishra, Former Union Minister, Former Governor of Rajasthan and Chief Patron of India SME Forum.

Mr. Prabhat Kumar, reflecting on the significance of MSMEs, stated, “I am delighted to associate with this event and congratulate the award winners. Having observed MSMEs for 50 years, I believe they should be at the top of the Prime Minister’s agenda for growth, reconstruction, and poverty alleviation. MSMEs are central to socio-economic development, yet our approach often lacks empathy and responsiveness. They must be the focal point of all planning—urban governance, education, infrastructure, and agriculture—linked to MSMEs. The India SME Forum is a step in the right direction, giving a small man a big voice.”
