MSME Growth Summit 2026: Andhra Pradesh Strengthens Industrial Ecosystem Through Strategic Partnerships

The Government of Andhra Pradesh organized the MSME Growth Summit 2026 at the newly inaugurated Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Kala Vedika Convention Centre in Vijayawada on May 25, 2026. The event, held under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, marked a significant milestone in the state's commitment to strengthening its Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ecosystem.

The summit focused on MSME growth, digital transformation, export enablement, and cluster development. The event witnessed the formal exchange of eight strategic Memoranda of Understanding(MOU) with national and international partners, alongside the launch of eight major MSME initiatives aimed at transforming the state's industrial landscape.

India SME Forum as Knowledge Partner and Programme Structure

India SME Forum, the country's largest not-for-profit organization for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with over 100,000 paid members and 1,236,000 subscribers across 19 state chapters, served as the official Knowledge Partner for the MSME Growth Summit 2026.

The event began with the Hon'ble Chief Minister's arrival, followed by the formal inauguration of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Kala Vedika Convention Centre. The Chief Minister unveiled the inauguration plaque, paid floral tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's portrait, and toured the convention centre facilities before proceeding to the MSME Summit venue. The formal summit programme included a stall visit where the Chief Minister toured the MSME experience zone and RTIH (Research, Technology and Innovation Hub) Zone. The programme featured welcome addresses by Hon'ble Minister Shri Kondapalli Srinivas, Hon'ble MLA Shri Bonda Umamaheswara Rao (Vijayawada Central AC), and Hon'ble MP Shri Kesineni Sivanath (Vijayawada PC).

The second half of AP MSME Summit 2026 featured multiple knowledge sessions including Amazon Global Selling in which Mr. Srinidhi Kalvapudi, Head, Amazon Global Selling gave an insightful session which involved connecting AP exports to global e-commerce markets. A fireside chat on “One Family One Entrepreneur” was held with the Hon’ble MSME Minister and the Chairman of AP MSME Development Corporation. This was followed by sessions by Dr. Bhavya from NRDC on Technology Transfer, RXIL on improving MSME cash flow through the TReDS platform, Ms. April Chang of UNIDO on export-ready clusters and compliance intelligence, and Union Bank on emerging banking solutions for MSME sustainability.

The event also featured thematic stalls and facilitation zones set up across Zones A, B, C, and D for MSME support and outreach. Zone A showcased RTIH market linkages, digital enablement, technology transfer, product perfection, capacity building, credit ecosystem support, startup showcase, and incubation guidance. Zone B highlighted infrastructure support including MSME parks, logistics infrastructure, and common facility centres. Zones C and D included facilitation desks for UDYAM & Startup Registration, Energy/Water Audit Enrolment, DxEDGE Digital Assessment Enrolment, ZED Certification Enrolment, APMSMEDC workshop enrolments, and dedicated bank kiosks for credit facilitation.

Eight Major Initiatives Launched

The Hon'ble Chief Minister launched eight transformative initiatives for the MSME sector during the summit. These included the rollout of 38 MSME Parks under the 175 MSME Parks Programme by APIIC and the Industries & Commerce Department, and the launch of RTIH Outpost by the Research, Technology and Innovation Hub. The Advanced Prototyping & Innovation Center (APIC) by RTIH was inaugurated to support MSME innovation capabilities. The SIDBI-RTIH Seed Fund was announced to support early-stage MSME ventures, providing crucial financial backing for entrepreneurial initiatives.

The digital transformation agenda was advanced through the launch of 1 Lakh MSME Digital Maturity Assessments by DxEdge in collaboration with CII & NITI Aayog, aimed at evaluating and enhancing the digital readiness of enterprises across the state. To promote sustainable manufacturing practices, 1000 MSME Energy & Water Audits were announced, addressing environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. The roll-out of the AP Cluster Development Programme (AP CDP) for sector-specific MSME growth was introduced to strengthen industrial clusters statewide. Demonstrating commitment to inclusive growth, Entrepreneurship Training for PwBD Youth was launched to promote inclusive entrepreneurship and create opportunities for differently-abled individuals.

Strategic Partnerships: Eight MoUs Signed

The summit witnessed the formal exchange of eight major Memoranda of Understanding, each addressing specific dimensions of MSME development. These partnerships represent a comprehensive approach to industrial growth, covering cluster development, digital enablement, e-commerce exports, and logistics facilitation.

India SME Forum - AP Cluster Development Programme

India SME Forum entered into a three-year MoU with AP MSME Development Corporation for implementing the UNIDO Cluster Development Methodology across Andhra Pradesh. MOU was signed by Mr Vinod Kumar, President India SME Forum. The collaboration aims to conduct diagnostic assessments and develop cluster development roadmaps for up to 10 MSME clusters using globally recognized frameworks. 

Meta - Digital Enablement of Micro Enterprises

Meta committed to digitally enabling 100,000 micro enterprises across Andhra Pradesh through adoption of Meta's business platforms including WhatsApp Business, Facebook, and Instagram. MOU was signed by Ms. Natasha Jog, Director-Public Policy, Meta. The three-year MoU establishes a comprehensive digital enablement framework focused on equipping micro enterprises with digital business tools.

Amazon - E-commerce Exports Programme

Amazon committed to enabling up to 10,000 sellers from Andhra Pradesh through awareness programmes, educational webinars, market insights sharing, and knowledge-sharing initiatives focused on e-commerce exports. MOU was signed by Mr. Srinidhi Kalvapudi, Head, Amazon Global Selling. The 36-month MoU establishes a comprehensive framework for scaling e-commerce exports from the state.

Aramex India - Export Logistics and Trade Facilitation

Aramex India committed to strengthening the export ecosystem for MSMEs through its global logistics network operating in over 120 countries. MOUs was signed by Mr. Percy Avari, Country Manager, Aramex India Pvt. Ltd. The three-year MoU aims to enable at least 50% of first-time exporters in Andhra Pradesh through structured onboarding, capacity-building, export facilitation, and dedicated logistics support.

Vodafone Idea Limited - ReadyForNext Digital Readiness Assessment

Vodafone Idea committed to conducting digital readiness assessments for more than 100,000 MSMEs across Andhra Pradesh through its "ReadyForNext" framework, available in both English and Telugu languages.MOU was signed by Ms. Prrasanta Nayeer, Vice President, Government Business. The three-year MoU positions Vodafone Idea as a key enabler of MSME digital transformation in the state.

MOUs have also been signed with Zoho Corporation, Quality Council of India, and National Small Industries Corporation.

Impact and Implementation Framework

The Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu delivered a keynote address articulating the state government's vision for MSME-led industrial growth. The Chief Minister reiterated his vision of 'One Family, One Entrepreneur', emphasizing the state government's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship at the grassroots level and ensuring that every household in Andhra Pradesh has the opportunity to participate in the state's economic growth. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh also interacted with the strategic MOU partners during the event. The summit concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. N. Yuvaraj, IAS, Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for Industries and Commerce, followed by the National Anthem.

The MSME Growth Summit 2026 represents a landmark initiative in Andhra Pradesh's industrial development trajectory. The strategic partnerships formalized during the event, combined with the launch of eight major initiatives, position the state as a leader in MSME innovation, digital transformation, and export competitiveness. The commitments undertaken by ISF,Meta, Amazon, Aramex and Vodafone, supported by the state government's policy framework and institutional infrastructure, create an unprecedented opportunity for MSMEs to scale their operations, access global markets, adopt digital technologies, and contribute meaningfully to Andhra Pradesh's vision of becoming a leading industrial state in India.
