INDIA's MOST PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

The 8th Edition of India SME 100 awards organised by India SME Forum is India’s most prestigious annual awards initiative for small and medium enterprises where TOP 100 SMEs across industry sectors, are chosen by a very eminent Jury from around 40000+ nominations, on the basis of their overall performance in the categories of Growth, Financial Strength, Innovation, International Outlook, Corporate Governance and People capital. The awards also inspire willing and able SMEs that have the potential to be world-class enterprises and offer them the platform to promote themselves to investors and partners to sustain growth. The last 7 editions have seen over 2.5 lakh nominations and 700 winners from all over the country.

The 2019 edition of India SME 100 awards was held at EROS Hotel, Delhi where TOP 100 SMEs were selected by jury from 34011 nominations received of different sectors and awarded by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of MSME and Shri Pratap Sarangi, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME in the presence of the Secretary MSME and the Development Commissioner MSME, Chairman KVIC, CMD, NSIC and others.

To be eligible for the India SME 100 ranking, an enterprise should be an entity engaged in an economic activity, with a legal form i.e. registered as a business either with an Udyog Aadhaar or registered with the Local SSI / MSME directorate or with a free trade / industrial zone / export zone in India.

Nominees are evaluated on the basis of both financial and non-financial indicators. While the financial indicators of Growth Performance and Financial strength would be keenly evaluated, balanced emphasis would be give to the non-financial indicators covering Innovation, International Outlook, People Capital and Corporate Governance.
