Employment Growth: He claimed that employment creation in India has reached new heights, and the unemployment rate is at its lowest in six years. He cited a recent survey to support this claim.

Rural and Urban Impact: The decreasing unemployment rate is noted in both rural and urban areas, indicating that the benefits of development are reaching all parts of the country, and new opportunities are emerging equally in villages and cities.

Emphasis on Skill Development: He stressed the importance of skill development and noted that the government recognized its significance by establishing a separate ministry and budget allocation for it.

Evolving Job Demands: He acknowledged the changing nature of jobs and the need for continuous skilling, upskilling, and re-skilling to meet these evolving demands.

Expansion of ITIs: Over the last nine years, about 5,000 new Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) have been established, adding more than 4 lakh new ITI seats, with a focus on providing high-quality training.

Broadened Scope: Skill development efforts are not limited to traditional sectors; they now encompass a wide range of fields, including technology, services, and even drone technology for women's self-help groups.

Women's Empowerment: There has been a notable increase in the participation of women in India's workforce, partly attributed to government schemes and campaigns aimed at women's empowerment.

Investment in Youth: India is investing more in the skills of its youth, with programs like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana training approximately 1.5 crore youth.

Economic Growth: He highlighted India's economic growth, as predicted by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and his goal of taking India among the top three economies globally.

Youth Power: He emphasized the importance of India's young population in harnessing the country's resources and highlighted the world's interest in India's skilled youth.

Educational Reforms: He mentioned the new National Education Policy (NEP) and the establishment of new educational and skill development institutes, such as medical colleges, IITs, IIMs, and ITIs.

Diverse Employment Opportunities: India is setting records in various sectors, including goods exports, mobile exports, electronic exports, services exports, and manufacturing. It's also promoting opportunities in areas like space, startups, drones, animation, electric vehicles, and semiconductors.

Global Skill Mapping: India's proposal for global skill mapping was accepted at the G20 Summit, potentially creating better opportunities for youth in the future.

In summary, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the progress in employment, skill development, and the broadening scope of opportunities in India, with a focus on youth empowerment and economic growth.
