22 More Companies Approved Under Textile PLI Scheme
The Government has approved 22 new companies under Round 3 of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles, reinforcing its push to strengthen domestic manufacturing in high-growth textile segments. The newly approved applicants are expected to invest ₹2,339.14 crore, generate a turnover of ₹15,561.34 crore, and create over 36,000 jobs across the textile value chain. With these additions, a total of 96 companies have now been selected under Round 3 of the scheme, bringing the total committed investment to ₹12,822.67 crore and the projected turnover to ₹58,294.18 crore. The approved projects cover key sectors such as Man-Made Fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textiles. The investments are expected to boost India's competitiveness in value-added textile manufacturing, create employment opportunities, and support the development of a stronger and globally competitive textile ecosystem.
