Government Launches ‘Navachar Mantra’ to Support Grassroots Innovators and Entrepreneurs
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has launched Navachar Mantra, a national initiative to support grassroots innovators and early-stage entrepreneurs, particularly from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, aspirational districts, and underserved regions. The programme was launched by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and will be implemented by NIESBUD in partnership with IIT Delhi. The initiative will provide mentorship, investor access, market linkages, policy support, and business development guidance across sectors such as Agritech, HealthTech, EdTech, Climate and Sustainability, Rural Commerce, and MSME Enablement. Registrations are now open until July 5, 2026. Selected participants will join a year-long programme featuring mentorship sessions, innovation showcases, investor interactions, and national-level exposure. The initiative aims to strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem and help promising ideas grow into sustainable enterprises.
