Panasonic launches mirrorless camera Lumix G100 with Nokia OZO Audio technology

Photographers have a good news to rejoice.

Panasonic has unveiled its latest mirrorless camera 'Lumix G100' in India. By introducing this, the company targets vloggers and other digital content creators. Compact in size the camera weighs around 350grams including batteries.

One of the noteworthy features of the Lumix G100 is OZO Audio by Nokia that has been included in the camera for better audio recording. There are also three microphones to track the voice of the subject and recognise the setting to record it.

In an official press release, product head of Panasonic India, Hardeep Sarna said, "With Lumix G100, we have ensured video content creation is made easy with no complex set up and heavy/ unmanageable camera body. Enabled with OZO Audio by Nokia, the camera, sets unprecedented standard for immersive audio sound experience in the mirrorless category."

Features of the camera:

The digital single lens mirror-less camera is Panasonic’s latest addition to its flagship LUMIX G series ideal for vloggers and video content creators. Weighing 412 grams, it is equipped with a 20.3MP MOS sensor without Low Pass Filter and 4K technology.

It realises maximum ISO 25600 high sensitivity. The camera also has a 5-Axis Hybrid I.S. (image stabiliser). It features the Venus Engine for high-performance image processing.

It features an option to directly upload images and videos to a smartphone or a tablet through the ‘LUMIX Sync App.’ It comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz (IEEE802.11b/g/n) connectivity. The camera also has the V-LogL recording capability where users can apply the LUT (Look Up Table) of their choice on the recorded V-LogL footage via a PC to create a differentiated video with subtle colours and moods.

The camera comes with the LUMIX G VARIO 12-32mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S.(H-FS12032) lens.

The LUMIX G100 is priced at Rs. 58,990 (without grip) and  Rs.67,990 (with grip).
