IT sector to grow at 8-10 pc as new tech adoption is faster than expected: Offshore Insights Research

It is being widely said that market watchers are optimistic of the IT sector that it may grow in the near-term.

Speaking on the same lines, Sudin Apte, CEO and Research Director, Offshore Insights Research said that the industry is likely to grow by 8-10 per cent in the coming fiscal. The growth expected from the technology sector in India can be in the range of 8-10 per cent or slightly higher than that,” he said.

Going ahead, Apte said, “We do expect double digit growth by some of the leaders and slightly sluggish growth for mid-tier and some of the struggling providers.”

Apte believes that the digital adoption rate is substantially increasing.
