With a third-place global rating, this study confirms India's important standing as a hotspot for entrepreneurs. According to data from the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India has 99,380 active startups. With 59 entrepreneurs establishing unicorns and two entrepreneurs launching gazelles, which are firms valued at over $500 million and predicted to become unicorns within three years, the rise in Indian unicorns demonstrates the nation's potential for significant wealth creation.
