MP Departments join hands to curb the Corona

MP: Bureaucrats of all departments join hands with the medical and health department to curb Covid-19

To curb the spread of coronavirus, many bureaucrats of Madhya Pradesh joined hands with those of the medical and health department, have taken the steps forward. The different departments connected with Covid-19 have been allocated to the officials, in order not to put pressure only on one person.They are looking after hospitals, supply of oxygen and other essentials.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and chief secretary Iqbal Singh Bains have connected the officers of various departments with additional chief secretary of the health and medical education department Mohd Suleman and health commissioner Akash Tripathi. In addition to the job of their respective departments, they are looking after different work. These officers also are doing the corona-related work.

Dealing with oxygen-related issues has been assigned to Malay Shrivastava, the Additional chief secretary of the public health engineering department. His responsibility is dealing with purchase and distribution of oxygen. A team, comprising secretary of MSME Vivek Porwal and drug controller P Narhari, is working under Shrivastava. Director of the state education centre Dhanraju is also assisting them.

Sanjay Shukla, the Principal secretary of industries,  has been alloted the responsibility of looking after the temporary hospital in Bina. Besides, he has been asked to ensure that oxygen plants are set up in Madhya Pradesh.
