Telangana to Implement New Industrial Policy Soon
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called on officials to create policies that will position Telangana as a global competitor in industrial development. During a review meeting with the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation on Tuesday, the Chief Minister recommended several new policies to enhance the state's industrial growth. Officials updated the Chief Minister on decisions from previous meetings and the status of ongoing projects.
Chief Minister Reddy emphasized the need for a new policy to support power loom and handloom workers in the textile sector. Officials announced that six new policies would be implemented to boost industrial development. These include the MSME Policy, Export Policy, New Life Sciences Policy, Revised EV Policy, Medical Tourism Policy, and Green Energy Policy.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to finalize these industrial policies before the Election Code takes effect. He suggested studying the best practices from other countries to ensure the policies effectiveness.
